THESE ARE THE BEST WINTER BOOTS EVER

Manitobah Mukluks makes my absolute favorite winter boots. I’ve had mine for three years, and wear them all winter in the cold of Midwestern USA.

Why Did I Buy Mukluks?

For the past ten years or so, I’ve only bought myself minimalist footwear. Sometimes, that means barefoot shoes, and sometimes it just means buying shoes and boots with the least amount of sole and the most amount of flexibility possible. Going the minimal route is much easier on my feet and back, and honestly walking around with less shoe on your foot is just much more pleasant in general.

There are numerous health and comfort benefits to wearing flat-soled, flexible, non-constraining footwear, but that’s a long, technical topic that I’ll save for another post.

The sole of these boots is super thin and flexible (so I can feel what I’m walking on) but still somehow manages to be warmer than any other boots I’ve ever worn. I couldn’t really ask for anything better.

I put off buying these for a couple years due to the price, but in hindsight, I should have bought them right away. They’re well worth the price. These boots are everyday-wear for me during the many winter months in the USA’s frozen Midwest.
