For me, the keyboard on a notebook makes it way more functional than a tablet or phone. I bought a wireless keyboard a long time ago, because typing a lot on a small screen can be a real pain in the neck. The keyboard helped a lot with that, but I had to a), buy two things and b), carry two things. Expensive and inconvenient. The Chromebook is all one piece, which is more convenient to carry, and you don’t have to pay extra for the keyboard.
