THIS PHOTO BY ISMAEL JORDÁ IS A SHINY, BEAUTIFUL USE OF MONOCHROME. It’s not as easy as you might think to make a rigid object like an airplane look as dynamic as this, especially with the very limited angle options of a person photographing one from the ground.

It’s perfectly composed, sharply in-focus, and has great contrast, but my favorite part is probably the color. The deep blue-gray chosen as the palette for this photo is very striking, and a great choice. Thanks, Ismael Jordá!
