POKÉMON GO JUST RELEASED ONE OF ITS MOST MAJOR UPDATES EVER, with 50 new Stage 3 Pokémon appearing in the wild for you to catch. Version 0.85.2 is a doozy.
Check out the handy chart below for a complete list of all 50 new Pokémon you’ll be able to spot in the wild, including notes on the ones that are probably only available regionally. NOTE: CHART UPDATED 1/9/2018 due to Seviper and Zangoose switching regions.
Also in the update: Weather
This is super cool. Pokémon GO will now take local weather into account in real-time (according to Pokémon GO):
Real-world weather conditions are now reflected in Map View, in battle, and when catching Pokémon.
Added a weather icon that can be tapped to highlight which Pokémon types are more likely to appear in the surrounding area and will be affected by current weather conditions.
Pokémon generated by your local weather conditions will also probably have a higher encounter CP and higher base IV than everyday Pokémon. So they’ll be harder to catch and better on average than your everyday captures.
