MAKING EVEN A GOOD, SIMPLE FRUIT SMOOTHIE REQUIRES A LITTLE PRACTICE. Or, it requires a recipe from someone who’s had practice! My fiance Therese and I drink smoothies all the time, and this is her easy fruit smoothie she takes to work in the morning.

Once you get the hang of making your own smoothies, you can customize them easily and endlessly! It becomes very easy to make your own smoothies without a recipe. I rarely make my smoothies the exact same way twice. I’m usually in the mood for a little less of this ingredient, or a little more of that one. I have a lot of fun with it.
The texture of this particular smoothie is absolutely outstanding. I love how thick and almost solid it is, but it still melts in your mouth immediately. The fruit gives it a very flavorful, natural sweetness. I also like adding my favorite protein powder which I add to all my smoothies. It makes them a lot more of a meal.
The fruit has to be frozen! Using unfrozen fruit will play heck with the texture of your smoothie. Trust me. Use frozen fruit.
