MR. ROBOT CREATOR SAM ESMAIL HAS CONFIRMED that Mr. Robot has been renewed for a fourth season by USA Network. This news comes hours before the Season 3 finale, and thank goodness. There’s no way all of our questions will be answered by the final episode of Season 3, so I’m happy to know that I will have the security blanket of knowing there’s more to come during the inevitable distress I’ll be feeling after watching it. Calm down everyone. #MrRobot season_4.0...

LAST EPISODE, ALL OUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS, AND THE WORLD IN GENERAL, WERE DOING PRETTY POORLY. Angela and Elliot specifically were having a really bad time. Elliot was barely in the episode too stressed out to be present, giving Mr. Robot almost all the screen-time. Throughout this episode, we see armed soldiers patrol the streets of New York City as sirens are heard screaming in the distance. At one point, a military vehicle filled with soldiers rolls past in the street as an announcement of...

THIS ONE IS A DOOZY. This episode, Mr. Robot follows in the footsteps of the film Birdman as well as all those OK Go music videos, as this entire episode was shot without any perceptible cuts. This is incredibly difficult to pull off, and in the past, I’ve really loved the sequences (not even whole episodes) in Breaking Bad and True Detective (season 1) that were shot in this fashion. Filming without cuts can be an incredibly effective storytelling device, and is always, always...
