Carrot cake is so delicious. I can’t remember having a carrot cake I disliked, but there’s still a big, big difference between an incredible, moist carrot cake and a merely good one. It’s bizarre that using a vegetable results in such a soft, moist, tasty cake. A nice benefit of carrot cake that makes it even more festive is its natural orange coloring. I think I’m going to make this recipe over Christmas this year with my fiance Therese. And it’s actually a pretty healthy option for cake!...

Cream cheese frosting is the best frosting. I love cream cheese frosting more than chocolate frosting, more than vanilla frosting, even more than lemon frosting. It’s the best. Sadly it doesn’t go with every kind of cake. But the cakes it does go with are better with cream cheese frosting than any other. Things are coming to a head in The Punisher. I think this show is well-paced. Netflix didn’t have any long periods of inaction, and they didn’t go crazy with unrelenting action. But this episode is action-packed. One of Senator Ori’s Anvil guards hears a knock on his apartment door. Lewis’ voice calls, “New York Bulletin.” The guard says from the other side of the door, “I don’t need a subscription.” and incautiously walks right up to the peephole.
